When I was on my quilting retreat with friends in February, I made two more quilt tops from the pattern I created myself (see the second quilt in this post: https://rhondabracey.com/2018/01/31/pink-quilts-for-donating-to-the-mcgrath-foundation/). Both were made with Asian-style fabrics, in cotton fat quarters.
This is the blue, grey, and gold themed one; the other is red and gold (https://rhondabracey.com/2018/03/17/red-and-gold-asian-style-quilt/).
I quilted it in overlapping squares, using a gold thread. The border is a black fabric with a gold dot pattern. The backing fabric is a navy cotton.
This quilt is available for sale on my Esty store: https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/601066847/blue-gray-and-gold-asian-style-lap-quilt
