I finally finished the macaw art quilt I started last year. Actually, I finished it late last year, but since then I’ve entered it in an art competition (textile category) where a condition of entry was that it had to be for sale. That competition is over now, so now I can put up the pictures of it.
The finished size is 28″ [width] x 29.5″ [height] (71 x 75 cm) and it has a hanging sleeve.
As you can see from the close-up photos, it has hundreds of thousands of stitches and uses many different fabrics and threads.
