How to quilt this ‘asterisk’ quilt? I started by stitching in the ditch around all the blocks and the asterisk elements (including their square centres), then did a small stipple in the background for each asterisk. I finished with a large stipple in the border and diagonal stitching in the small squares in the border. I left the asterisks, the green border, and the bars of solid colours unstitched.
