This small, colourful, and very geometric quilt needed something to soften the hard edges, so I quilted it using the curvaceous open headband motif in a bright yellow thread.
(Click on a photo to view it larger)
Threads used:
- Top: Fil-Tec Glide ‘Mango’ (40 wt, trilobal polyester, colour 80116)
- Bottom: Fil-Tec Magna Glide Classic pre-wound bobbin (light tan)
Rhonda your quilts are beautiful. Question, what do you do for skipped stitches. Just had machine serviced by a Handiquilter guy Still skipping and I live too far away and it’s costly every time I go. Thanks. Blessings Cleta

Hi Colettia
Skipped stitches – try these:
* change needle
* change needle size up or down
* turn needle so that the eye it isn’t exactly at the 6 o’clock position — try 5:30 or 6:30 position
* watch that the thread isn’t wrapping around the needle
* make sure the bobbin thread is threaded correctly
Also, these websites (ignore the info about domestic needles):
